About the Role

As an Accounting Services Associate, you will track checks and perform bank deposits and deposit reconciliations. You will identify variances in deposits and accounts, while accurately processing daily custom and system outgoing correspondence. In addition, accurately input medical benefit payments. This is a Non-exempt/Hourly position with occasional, voluntary overtime hours available.

Responsibilities

  • Reconciling deposits. Depositing / scanning checks deposited by using remote deposit scanner. Preparing Deposit for next day.

  • Doing data entry of medical benefit payments and performing document retention and managing spreadsheets.

  • Generating Daily Fee Extract.

  • Forwarding checks to account managers and maintaining check list. Assisting in the labeling of checks queried and managing unposted check list.

  • Sending out custom letters with checks via through mailroom using certified mail.

  • Receiving and scanning accounting diaries. Running system top diaries and reports.

  • Receiving check batches from mailroom and maintaining accounting tracking.

  • Assisting in identifying no information checks (calling for more information) and auditing of unposted checks in house.

  • Performing other duties as assigned and complying with all policies and standards.

Requirements

  • Have experience in clerical, office administration, OR Deposits/Balances/Reconciliations for Bank information.

  • Be able to work Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm MST, onsite in Sandy, UT. Optional overtime available during the week. Also, there is occasional (3-4 times a year), end of month, "voluntary" overtime, Saturday work.

  • Be able to pass 1 minute typing test.

  • Have familiarity with office equipment, including Window’s computers, photocopying machines, 10 key keyboard/calculator, Microsoft Office tools (Excel/Outlook/Word), and Adobe PDF.

Pay Transparency Laws in some locations require disclosure of compensation and/or benefits-related information. For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation and/or sick time. The estimated salary range for this role is $18.00/hour.
