GENERAL FABRICATIONS CORPORATION Welder Fabricator in Sandusky, Ohio

*POSITION: *Welder/Fabricator

*REPORTS TO: *Fabrication Supervisor

We are seeking full-time Metal Fabricators to work in our Sandusky, Ohio fabrication facility and install equipment on the road. This role requires performing a variety of welding and fabrication capabilities:

Responsibilities:

  • Fabricate finished metal products
  • MIG/TIG/Stick welding, operate hand tools and fabrication equipment
  • Follow blueprints to meet product specifications
  • Working with Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, Aluminized and Galvanized
  • Plumbing (steel and plastic)
  • Ability to adapt to various other aspects in the shop

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in welding
  • Familiarity with welding tools and procedures
  • Familiarity with reading engineering blueprints and schematics a plus not a requirement
  • Ability to handle physical workload
  • High School Diploma Required

Travel required. Per-diem provided while traveling.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
