Job Details Job Location Sandusky International - Sandusky, OH   Description Provides leadership and direction for the Quality Department by managing the design and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure that quality standards are met. Oversees testing of processes and products including interpretation of NDT requirements. Directs activities for receiving and final inspection exercises to ensure that all inspection and testing are properly performed and that all discrepancies are formally documented and promptly dispositioned. Maintains compliance with ISO-9001 through daily guidance, routine internal audits, and biannual external audits. Supports various departments in the establishment of corrective and preventive actions for both internal and external discrepancies. Ensure that the purchased product conforms to engineering specifications and that all discrepancies are promptly resolved w/cost recovery from the vendor. Ensure that customer-supplied product is validated for Engineering design inputs. Job Description Ensure that product is adequately validated, all discrepancies are formally and promptly resolved to meet customer and internal specifications, and customer documentation packages are clear and concise. Ensure processes and procedures comply with internal, customer, and ISO requirements. Deficiencies and opportunities for improvement are conveyed to the Quality Steering Committee. Act as a facilitator and catalyst to drive effective root cause analysis to establish corrective and preventive actions that will support long-term financial and safety objectives. Ensure that all measurement and test equipment is in proper working condition to support production and quality functions. Qualifications Requirements: B.S. in engineering or manufacturing A minimum of 10 years' experience in management or supervisory position A minimum of 10 years' experience in Quality Non-Destructive Testing Methodology experience Exposure/knowledge to Quality Systems and relevant accreditation organizations Preferred: A minimum of 5 years' experience performing internal auditing/root cause analysis ASNT Accreditation Lean Sigma Black Belt Certification We are an Equal Opportunity Employer
