Essential Duties and *Responsibilities *

  • The essential duties and responsibilities of this job are included but not limited to this job description-other tasks may be assigned and expected to be performed.
  • Perform inspection processes.
  • Work with production associates to improve processes and measurement methods.
  • Perform metallurgical testing.
  • Assist with the development of product acceptance criteria and inspection process improvement.
  • Develop and/or enhance documented procedures to improve quality and production processes.
  • Assist with training personnel in quality procedures, inspection and testing methods.
  • Assist with calibration of gages and other inspection equipment.

Requirements:

  • Associate degree in manufacturing; quality engineering disciplines or an equivalent combination of education and 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing quality position required.
  • In-depth knowledge of quality tools and methods.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in manufacturing inspection and analysis methods.
  • Understanding of quality processes and ISO 9001/14001 standards.
  • Familiar with calibration methods.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software.
