Sets up work area; selecting and preparing irons, blocks, tools, and equipment as needed.
Ensures that the furnaces, annealers, and glory hole are in good operating order.
Performs routine housekeeping during and after each performance to maintain a safe and orderly appearance of the work area.
Monitors glass and supplies required for demonstrations and notifies Supervisor when supplies are low.
Interacts with audience both onstage and off.

Qualifications:

Availability to include some weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Ability to create quality glass objects that meet our required standard.
Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to present glass making in a professional manner.
Willingness to speak in front of large groups of people.
Willingness to work both independently and park of a team.
Can instruct guests through the glass making process and create presentable objects.
