Overview

Purpose:


Sets-up and operates assigned fabrication and finishing machines, including hydraulic, pneumatic and electric equipment which are used to produce food grade stainless steel parts. Employees must maintain the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. Follows established departmental policies, procedures, objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety control standards. Embraces the Lean Enterprise strategy and adheres to all safety policies.


Essential Duties and Percent of Time Spent:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Sets-up and operates conventional fabrication and finishing equipment. Must be able to run following equipment at a competent level: glass bead blasting, hydraulic press, drill press, and stroking machine.
