Jensen Bridge is a leading manufacturer of Steel Roofing and Steel Drainage products. We run a fleet of 11 of our own semi-trucks to deliver products. We pride ourselves on delivering top-quality service to our customers while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our team.

Position Overview: We are currently seeking a skilled Heavy Diesel Mechanic to perform maintenance and repair work on a variety of heavy equipment, with a primary focus on diesel engines. The ideal candidate will have experience working with diesel engines, particularly Cummins engines, although experience with other brands will also be considered.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel engines and related components.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks.
  • Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential issues and recommend appropriate repairs.
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow.

Qualifications:

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working with Cummins engines is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
