Essential Functions / Responsibilities:

Responsible for leading a small team to design and program a small module or a large component and designing a feature, set of features, or whole feature area. Work independently and contribute to the immediate team and to other teams across business. Responsible for managing the work deliverables of the platform/product/solution. Manage a small agile team (up to 8 direct reports). Manage multiple software projects. Demonstrate leadership through team leadership/knowledge in a specific technical area. Provide coaching, feedback, developmental opportunities to direct reports. Able to communicate the technical knowledge through project management/contributions to product strategy.

Qualifications / Requirements:

Position requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math), and 6 years of progressively responsible post-Bachelor’s degree experience in a related software development occupation. The position also requires: 2 years hands-on experience in development of web scale low latency services; 4 years experience in docker, kubernetes based development using python, SQL/NoSQL databases, kafka, elastic search, kibana, web services and RESTful APIs; 4 years experience in cloud services such as AWS/Azure/GCP as well as open source projects and technologies; 6 years of analytical, problem solving and strategy development experience; 5 years experience with performance engineering, test automation, DevOps, CI/CD pipeline and release engineering etc; 4 years experience with release maintenance and support management; 2 years experience with DICOM, HL7 standards; and 2 years experience with Healthcare Enterprise products and workflows in Radiology. Telecommuting may be permitted. When not telecommuting, must report/appear into/at the GE Healthcare IITS USA Corp. offices in San Ramon, CA. Salary for this position is $215,197 per year.

For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $179,520.00-$269,280.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
