Honeywell Lead Advanced Field Install Specialist - Cybersecurity, HVAC, Fire Alarm/Safety, Building Automation in San Ramon, California

The main function of this position is to provide configure, deploy and upgrade workstations/servers to Honeywell customers. Additional responsibilities related to the technical delivery turn key solutions. These customers will have various products installed that fall into the – HVAC, automation controls, life safety, fire, and security systems category as well as their associated computer systems. The goal is to ensure system up-time and efficiency.

The salary for this position is ($83,800 - $127,000). The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Can independently troubleshoot and repair complex building automation, fire alarm, access control security and video analytics systems proprietary to Honeywell.

  • Perform Windows Server system back-ups and install appropriate updates and patches

  • Run one-off problems, scenarios, and integrations based on the needs of the customer

  • Programming includes SQL databases, EBI’s and Graphics Front End Command and Control software.

  • Understand and apply knowledge of virtual machines, system imaging, and networking to serve the needs of the customers (may need to possess certifications)

  • Complete required documentation for work performed or other contractual obligations

  • Proper use of safety personal protection equipment

  • Security and other clearances as required by customer

  • This is a travelling field service engineer position based in the Sacramento area

Basic Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience

  • Certifications required for system specific work

  • Ability to work independently 75% of the time

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Ability to travel throughout the service area, with occasional overnight stays

  • Valid Driver’s License and driving record acceptable to Honeywell

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in Building Automation Systems Programming & Commissioning.

  • Technical Training & Certifications in Tridium Niagara N4, Alerton or Phoenix Controls

  • NICET Level II Certification

  • CCNA, Security+, CISSP, Microsoft

  • Honeywell Notifier Fire Alarm Certified

  • ProWatch Security Certified (Mercury, S2, Lenel, Avigilon, Gentec Certifications accepted)

  • MaxPro NVR Certified
