Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Junior Salesforce Developer to join our Evergreen team. You will handle level 1 cases, as well as, partner with and support the Salesforce Development team on their workload. As a Junior Salesforce Developer, you will be working with the Salesforce platform to design, code, and implement customized solutions that align with business needs.

1. Design and Development:

o You'll create customized solutions within Salesforce to support business functions and meet project objectives.

o Writing clean, scalable, and efficient code using Salesforce-specific languages like Apex and Visualforce is a significant part of your work.

o Leveraging the Lightning Component Framework, you'll build dynamic web applications.

2. Integration:

o You'll integrate Salesforce with other systems and databases using REST and SOAP APIs. This ensures a seamless flow of data across platforms.

3. Documentation:

o Creating and maintaining detailed technical documentation and process documentation is essential. This supports development and operational activities.

4. Collaboration:

o You'll work closely with project managers, solution architects, and other stakeholders to establish project plans and timelines.

o Collaborating with colleagues in sales, customer support, and marketing is crucial. You'll translate business needs into effective tools within Salesforce.

5. Customization:

o Utilize the declarative capabilities of the platform, such as workflows, process builders, validation rules, and security controls, to customize Salesforce applications.

6. Quality Assurance:

o Conduct unit tests, develop test classes, and perform code reviews to ensure robust and error-free applications.

7. Deployment:

o Manage the deployment of applications across different Salesforce environments using tools like Salesforce DX, change sets, and version control systems.

8. Continuous Learning:

o Stay updated on new Salesforce features and functionality. Provide recommendations for process improvements.

Skills and Requirements

- 3+ years' experience as a Salesforce Admin/Jr. Developer

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems or similar

- Salesforce Administration experience

- Salesforce Platform App Builder experience.

- Java Script and HTML development experience.

- XML and JSON development experience.

- Technical requirements documentation & solution design experience - Lightning web component custom development experience.

- Apex & SOQL experience.

- App Builder Certification

- Einstein experience null
