Who are we looking for. . .

We are looking for enthusiastic, positive and organized individual that is mature, professional and compassionate with animals and the people who love them. This person must have a strong affinity for working with the public. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter that is able to work in a fast-paced environment, stand on their feet for several hours while being an effective team player. The candidate must have a proven ability to work with the public in an often stressful and unpredictable environment, strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to multitask a must. Above all, you must be able to have FUN!

This is an extremely demanding, yet rewarding opportunity for candidates with experience in the following areas:

  • Promoting and supporting the highest level of client service in a medical or service industry. This position requires face-to-face contact with our clients; a minimum of 50% of your time will be spent working with our clients.

  • Experience working in an animal hospital

  • 3+ years personnel management of a minimum of 10 people

  • Computer literate, with proficiency in Word, Outlook, and basic Excel

  • Profit & loss responsibilities

VCA Animal Hospitals offers a competitive compensation and benefits package including Medical/Dental/Vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, pet care discounts, paid vacation, holidays and sick days, health and well-being programs that provide resources and training. Compensation is negotiable based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials. The annual salary range for this position is $75,000-85,000.This position may also be eligible for other variable pay programs.
