Supports the aquatic program through instruction and providing aquatic wellness in the pool. Ensures safety and well-being of all participants. Maintains strong relationships with the community members and facilitates communication for any issues or concerns.

HS Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:
AEI-Aquatic Exercise Instructor
BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
1 year recent relevant experience.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Knowledge of adult learning principles.
Ability to work with diverse populations
Ability to communicate in written and spoken English.
Customer service skills.
Ability to interact with people.
Communication skills.

Pay Range is $42.20 to $52.73 / hour
The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
