We are seeking the right candidate for our Showroom Customer Coordinator role at our San Luis Obispo location. Showroom Coordinators are the face of our showroom business and are responsible for providing a warm welcome to our clients and ensuring that the showroom sales floor runs smoothly, fairly and efficiently. We are seeking a charismatic team player with a background in hospitality and/or customer service. Passion around interior design is preferred, but not required. Our ideal candidate will be a customer advocate that is passionate about both customer service and experience, is highly organized and most importantly, will always have a positive attitude. The construction industry moves fast, so we are eager to find a candidate that thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment and is eager to help our team to achieve and surpass the goals that are given to them.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30-5, may have some rotating Saturdays.

Pay starting at $21.00 per hour and can pay higher based on experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome customers to the showroom.

  • Qualify customers and learn more about their projects, specifically what they are looking for and how they heard about us.

  • Manage the sales team rotation and ensure that customers are evenly distributed throughout the day.

  • Manage the Showroom Calendar and appointment bookings.

  • Manage lunch schedule and remind sales consultants to go to lunch on time.

  • Manage showroom pricing labels and keep all pricing up to date.

  • Administrative tasks and projects such as invoicing and paperwork management.

  • Continually improve customer service skills and product knowledge to promote a professional image in the showroom.

Qualifications:

  • A strong sales presence and amazing interpersonal skills

  • Team player who is eager to work together as one cohesive unit

  • Problem solving, leadership and listening skills

  • Organizational and time management skills

  • The ability to deal with a vast array of customers with varying levels of product knowledge.
