Full -Time/Non-Exempt Bilingual (English-Spanish) preferred Compensation: $32.59 - $39.63/hour commensurate with experience within this range; plus a 1-bedroom rent and utility free unit; a $50-$90/month bilingual stipend may be included depending on fluency.

In order to help meet the great need for more affordable housing opportunities in San Luis Obispo County, HASLO is seeking an experienced and motivated individual who wants to use their talents and skills to make a difference. This position reports to the Portfolio Manager(s) and is responsible for the oversight of multiple apartment complexes. Performs duties that contribute to the overall success of the assigned properties (assignments will vary depending on agency needs); serving as the liaison between HASLO management and residents; assists with special projects, lease-ups, compliance and re-certifications, lease enforcement and property upkeep; coordinates maintenance work orders; develops a safe and engaged community; solves practical problems and deals with a variety of unpredictable situations where limited standardization exists. The compensation range listed above consists of 5 steps with a 5% increase between each step. Offers of employment are generally made at the first step in each range but a higher starting step may be considered based on the successful candidates' qualifications. New hires are eligible for a pay increase upon completion of the 6-month introductory period and every year following, up to the top of the range. Compensation includes a generous benefits package; additional details are available on the Benefits and Paid Time Off summary in the application packet. HASLO operates on a 9/80 work schedule: Mon to Thu 7:30am to 5:00pm and every other Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm (office is closed alternate Fridays); however, some schedules may vary based on the needs of the assigned department.
