Adecco US, Inc. Material Handler in San Luis Obispo, California

Adecco is hiring a Material Handler in San Luis Obispo, CA. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including pulling orders, working with freight material, maintaining housekeeping standards, and adhering to safety protocols. This role will entail 60% warehouse work and 40% outside yard work. If you are interested please read the position summary and qualifications below.

  • Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm

  • Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour

Qualifications:

  • Preferred background in warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory management.

  • Ability to quickly learn product knowledge.

  • Forklift operator experience (will be required to take an assessment)

  • Diploma/GED

Responsibilities:

  • Pull and prepare orders for shipment using proper equipment such as sit-down forklifts, order picker reach, pallet jacks, and dollies.

  • Receive, verify, stage, and stock all incoming material.

  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, security, and safety within the warehouse environment.

  • Perform any necessary housekeeping tasks to ensure a tidy work area.

Pay Details: $20.00 per hour
