The pay rate for this job is $25 / hour

Job Responsibilities:

  • Diagnosing issues with and repairing and installing commercial garage doors, openers, and other garage door components.

  • Repairing, diagnosing, and installing Dock Equipment such as Edge of Docks, Dock Levelers, and Vehicle Restraints.

  • Repairing, diagnosing, and installing Access Control Gate Systems.

  • Diagnosing malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.

  • Identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with all Frontier Door standards.

  • Performing physically demanding tasks, such as lifting and installing garage doors, garage door openers, moving and lifting other heavy objects and often climbing on a ladder while working.

  • Travel to job sites in service area, and work with management to ensure schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated to customer.

  • Willing to learn our system.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Good driving record and current valid driver's license

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, be able to push, pull, carry or maneuver heaver items (with additional manpower or appropriate devices); carry ladders, work from heights.

  • Foreman, Construction or Manufacturing experience is a bonus and additional compensation can be discussed in the interview process.
