A Brief Overview

The Profitability Officer conducts profitability reports and analysis of the institution to support Departments/Units, Executive Directors and Board of Directors in decision making.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

· Performs Profitability reporting package for Departments/Units, Executive Directors and Board of Directors.

· Responsible for the reconciliation of the financial data used for the Profitability report preparation.

· Responsible for compile financial statistical data and analyze accuracy and relevance.

· Provides support on financial analyses for other areas of the Bank.

· Use profitability system model to generate reports, reconcile and analyze output data.

· Incorporate changes to the profitability system model as require by the businesses and/or new assumptions.

· Knowledge of the profitability system model capabilities and others systems manage by our department.

· Assists in the preparation during the budget process and preparation of the presentation to the Executive Directors and Board of Directors.

· Provides support to the Bancware Data Integration functions related to the monthly feed preparation, core systems conversion projects and core deposit study upgrades.

· Give support to peers and other areas of the Bank as necessary.

What You’ll Need:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics. A minimum of three to five years of experience in profitability analysis or related finance areas in a corporation with a complex organizational structure, preferably in a financial institution. CPA preferred.

· Strong analytical skills.

· Understanding of accounting, financial industry related products, and good understanding of banking operation.

· Effective communication skills across different levels of the organization.

· Teamwork oriented

· Knowledge in MS Office Programs. Some training and experience with financial reporting tools.

· Proficient technical knowledge in data management tools with keen sense in statistical analysis.

· Microsoft SQL knowledge preferable

· Knowledge of statistical methods.

· Fully Bilingual – English & Spanish (written & verbal).

· Ability to work extended hours in a fast paced and deadline-oriented environment.

· Self-motivated and attention to detail.
