HomeSafe Alliance is the single global household goods movement manager of over 300,000 Military Household Goods moves per year for USTRANSCOM and the U.S. Armed Forces, Department of Defense civilians, U.S. Coast Guard, and their families.

Position Summary :

HomeSafe Alliance is seeking a Claims Administrator/Data Processor with experience in HHG/Military Move.

Under limited supervision the Claims Administrator will provide administrative and clerical support for claims processes. Respond to internal and external customer disputes and inquiries according to company policies. The role requires high efficiency in producing documents and running reports. Must be exceptionally customer service oriented, highly organized, have strong verbal and written communication skills, and possess a friendly, helpful demeanor.

Required Education, Knowledge & Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, some college preferred

  • Must be a U.S. citizen due to contractual requirements.

  • Excellent communication skills, oral and written

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Proficient computer skills – MS Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks with speed and accuracy and with attention to detail

  • Positive interpersonal and problem-resolution skills

  • Previous knowledge and/or experience working in an administrative/data processing role within Military Move, personal property or cargo claims environment highly preferred.

Job Functions:

  • Assist with answering and directing Claims Department phone calls and emails; making sure all areas are documented

  • Assist in gathering necessary documentation and information from customers and/or service providers

  • Receive new claims, register in the system, and assign to a Claims Adjuster

  • Send related claim forms and documents as needed or requested

  • Generate monthly, weekly, and daily Claims Data reports as needed

  • Performing high-value traces, communicating results to customers, and scheduling and tracking items found

  • Interface with the Adjuster, Agent, and customers to obtain information to ensure completeness of the information and update the claims system

  • Performs follow-up on claims and updates system with new information as it is received

  • Process and review claims settlement letters and checks

  • Provide excellent customer service using sound judgment and decision making

  • Typing, filing, scanning, copying and general office clerical duties

  • Performs other job-related duties as needed

Fraud Alert

Fraud has infiltrated the job placement market via the internet, email and direct phone contact.
