Description We are looking for a skilled Accounting Clerk to join our team in San Juan Capistrano, California. This role focuses on maintaining and processing financial records, including customer credit applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process customer credit applications, ensuring all details are correct and up-to-date

• Maintain detailed and accurate customer credit records in compliance with company policies and industry regulations

• Resolve customer credit inquiries in a timely and detail oriented manner, providing excellent customer service at all times

• Monitor customer credit accounts regularly, identifying and addressing any issues or discrepancies

• Take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments, while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service

• Reconcile accounts and manage invoice processing to ensure all financial records are accurate

• Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Oracle, and SAP to manage financial data and processes

• Perform data entry tasks as needed to maintain and update financial records

• Collaborate with other team members to improve and streamline accounting procedures

• Perform other duties as assigned to support the functioning of the accounting department. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Demonstrated knowledge in Accounts Payable (AP)

• Proficient in Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Familiarity with Billing procedures

• Proficient in Data Entry

• Experience in Invoice Processing

• Skilled in using Microsoft Excel

• Knowledge of Oracle financial software

• Experience in QuickBooks

• Proficiency in SAP financial software

• Accounting Clerk experience preferred

• Strong attention to detail

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
