Intel Supply Chain Analyst in San José, Costa Rica

Job Description

This job allows great exposure to factory integration, global planning operation, manufacturing, quality management, commercial contract management, supply and material engineering, logistics and warehouse, custom and trade compliance, and IT technical capabilities teams. If you are a person that likes to learn vast amount of knowledge, playing with numbers and data for effective decision making, be empowered to drive automation and any improvement projects, get your hands dirty in defining business system requirements, and most importantly, own up a challenging job that will directly impact Intel's bottom line, this is the job for you.

The primary responsibilities for this role will include, but are not limited to:

  • This job requires the candidate to own procurement and supply management functions that fuel global Assembly Test Manufacturing plants to enable Intel revenue.

  • They span from New Product Introduction (supporting materials, spares requirements to qualify new products manufacturing in ATM plants), performing supply demand analysis, material planning, procurement, order management, inventory and supply management, logistic coordination, and continuous supply chain improvement.

A successful candidate will have proven experience demonstrating the following skills and behavioral traits:

  • Passion in end-to-end supply chain and Assembly Test Manufacturing related knowledge.

  • Analytical, and critical problem-solving skills.

  • Candidates with demonstrated experience or skillset on Lean, Six Sigma, Business Intelligence and Analytics, Business Process Improvement, and Data Science will be prioritized for the job.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications :

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position.

  • Must possess Bachelor's degree in commercial, engineering or related field.

  • 5+ years of working experience in equivalent job nature, or able to work independently with minimum supervision.

  • Intermediate to Advanced English proficiency (both verbal and written).

  • Must have unrestricted - permanent right to work in Costa Rica.

Preferred Qualifications:

Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain field would be an added advantage.

  • Candidates with demonstrated experience of managing systems projects (business process sharing, requirement gathering and specification, system design conversation with technical team, system testing, etc), or scripting, automation will be a plus.

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
