Intel SOC Verification Engineer in San José, Costa Rica
Job Description
In this role you will join a front-end validation team that is part for the Xeon and Networking Engineering Group design team working on the next-generation Server and Networking product SOCs. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic person who has experience in building complex test-benches and testing environments from scratch, understands Intel verification methodologies, verification environments and collateral creation. Candidate should be able to take existing verification collateral and suggest improvements/enhancements. This person should have good verification practices, coding styles and testbench expertise.
As part of our SOC team, you will influence the shaping of future server and networking products by contributing to the architecture used across design families. You will work closely with silicon architects, RTL design engineers, structural design engineers, Internal/External IP vendors, and DFT/DFD teams and get exposure to all aspects of product development. You will be part of an Austin based SOC Product Design team that encourages innovation, learning, team collaboration and thinking outside of the box to address all of our product development challenges.

Qualifications
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science or related field, or Master’s degree in related field.
1+ years of experience in the following:
Linux experience
Verilog or System Verilog
OVM or UVM or Object-Oriented Programming
Experience with scripting languages, examples Perl, Python, Tcl, etc.
Experience with digital logic design.
Advanced English level
Preferred Qualifications:
Post-Silicon experience in PCIE, Ethernet, UCIE, DMI experience would be a plus.
Computer architecture and or SoC architecture knowledge
Experience with Synopsys, Cadence or other industry standard EDA tools i.e. Verdi, VCS
Experience in all aspects of pre-silicon functional verification, including planning, debug, testbench design, UPF and coverage closure.
Should have strong scripting/coding skills.

Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
