This technical leader will support our Analog and Mixed-Signal Group (AMG). AMG designs and develops power management and sensor interface integrated circuits targeting the Automotive, Industrial, and Cloud/Computing end markets. This specific role will lead the system engineering effort for all of AMG

Key Duties and Responsibilities

What you will do -

  • Lead the systems engineering function for AMG across all market segments

  • Leverage market and customer system understanding to create a system solution strategy and drive profitable growth​

  • Engage with strategic marketing, BUs, sales and customers as a technical leader and a system expert to drive strategic direction, conquer new market segments and help win new opportunities as well as drive long-term roadmap alignment, product realization and business development

  • Collaborate with strategic marketing to perform technical and business feasibility analysis to enable strategic roadmap and business decisions

  • Create and evangelize a compelling technical vision for value add system solutions based on differentiated products and drive internal and external alignment to that vision

  • Collaborate with Strategic Marketing to define market and system solution requirements and highlighting key semiconductor product opportunities

  • Translate compelling system solutions and market requirements into key device specifications

  • Champion a system solution mindset and collaborate with internal stakeholders to create and deliver IC product roadmaps that support revenue growth targets and financial objectives

  • Partner with product planning and development teams to ensure products meet critical customer specifications and timelines.

  • Drive technical interaction with multiple stakeholders (business leaders, central teams, design, applications, program management, other business units, etc.) to leverage a platform approach to product development and maximize IP reuse

  • Anticipate and shape market trends and standards

  • Identify and champion development of differentiated new technologies and products to solve customer system problems, create value add solutions, establish onsemi as technical leader and a trusted advisor and fuel profitable business growth

  • Engage with ecosystem partners to develop compelling system solutions based on onsemi technology
