Logitech Deputy Global Sourcing Manager in San Jose, California

The Role:

As a Global Sourcing Manager, you will be responsible for executing procurement processes including category management, sourcing strategy, negotiations, contracting, and supplier performance/relationship management.

In this role you will

  • Be responsible of sourcing & procurement for EE components.

  • Be responsible for supplier management, price negotiation and cost reduction.

  • Be responsible for new supplier selection.

  • Be responsible for the negotiation with suppliers on the contract/agreements and business terms.

  • Need to provide supplier roadmap and market trend & analysis to internal customers on regular basis.

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with internal customers and external partners & suppliers.

  • Interact with key business leaders and managers/buyers to proactively identify potential sourcing opportunities.

  • Drive saving initiatives for the responsible category.

  • Work on long term component capacity planning and identifying sourcing bottlenecks.

Your Skills:

  • Bachelor or Master degree in business and/or Engineering

  • Excellent English in Reading/Speaking/Writing

  • At least 5-8 years sourcing experience or equivalent - EE components

  • Good capabilities to understand technology, key market players, market drivers and cost structure.

  • Good communication

  • Strong interpersonal skill

  • Strong analytical and negotiation skill

  • Ability to work globally (3 regions US, EMEA and AP)

This position offers an annual base salary typically between $ 106,000 and $ 150,000.  In certain circumstances, higher compensation will be considered based on the business need, candidate experience, and skills.
