What You'll Do
The Silicon Operations (SiOps) team’s vision is to enable an elite Silicon Supply Chain Operations to service Silicon component needs of Cisco’s core business as well as the emerging Components business.
In the role as Customer Quality Engineer in this new & growing team, you will lead all aspects quality management to deliver an outstanding customer experience. You will handle customer enquiries related to Product quality, specifications and compliance, effectively address concerns and drive issue resolution in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities Include:
- Participating in Product teams to represent Voice of the Customer and driving key decisions and priorities to meet Customers’ quality expectations.
- Leading multi-functional quality teams and continuous improvement programs to enhance product quality
- Managing customer communications including PCN, FA reports, Quality Alerts etc…
- Developing quality metrics to measure and improve business outcomes and customer experience
- Creating and maintaining a system to track customer’s quality related enquiries and responses.
Who You'll Work With
Silicon Operations owns Commercial, Technical and Operational Supply Chain Services to develop and fulfill custom ASIC using the "MAKE" model. The team is chartered with (1) establishing and leading business relationships with new supply chain ecosystem partners; (2) NPI Engineering and Operations to take custom Silicon devices from design to production; and (3) setup Manufacturing footprint and run volume operations once designs are released to production.
The team is currently focused on scaling volume operations for the 1st two generations of the Silicon One product line, while simultaneously driving NPI for multiple NG products.
Who You Are
You are a highly organized, quality professional with technical background in Semiconductor IC Engineering and relevant skills: * Demonstrated ability in 1 or more related areas such as Product Engineering, Test Engineering, Failure Analysis. * Good understanding of Semiconductor, manufacturing process, IC test methodologies, device reliability, silicon/package fail mechanisms and symptoms. * Hands on skills in FA process and techniques, Quality tools and methodologies, and structured problem solving techniques. * Strong written and oral communication skills - ability to handle critical situations in an effective and calm manner * Proficient in Issue tracking and Project Management tools such as Jira/Confluence * ASQ Certification would be a plus
Our Minimum Qualifications for This Role
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience
- Bachelors in Engineering, Electrical Engineering preferred
