Community Impact Manager What You'll Do Are you passionate about social causes and empowering people to drive positive impact for their local and global communities? The Community Impact (CI) team is seeking a highly motivated Community Impact Manager to help drive our global community investment and engagement strategy. A key part of this role will be to build and manage our social justice nonprofit investments and partnerships globally. You will assess and advise on Cisco’s corporate response to and engagement in global social justice initiatives, identify and support employee actions in support of social justice and help ensure our portfolio of community impact programs are just and equitable. You will collaborate across functions and teams at Cisco to execute on these priorities and projects. Responsibilities: * You will create and implement our social justice and community investment strategy based on industry research, thought leadership, and best practices * You will manage relationships with key nonprofit partners globally * You will research, assess, and make recommendations on Cisco’s engagement and response to global initiatives and pledges * You will use your knowledge and research to influence and help shape Cisco policies related to community and social justice issues * You will be an advocate and champion for equity within our Community Impact strategy and progams * You will work across Cisco to develop and market engagement opportunities for our employee population that include social and racial justice advancement. * You are innovative and familiar with new trends in the social impact sector to ensure we remain future-looking * You will collect, analyze and interpret data to drive decision making Who You'll Work With The Community Impact team is passionate about leveraging and accelerating actions by our people and communities to Power an Inclusive Future for All. We are a small and mighty team that drives Employee Engagement through various campaigns and networks and is now focused on driving that same energy in our ecosystem of partners, clients, and vendors. Who You Are You have the ability to handle and lead multiple projects, along with conducting full lifecycle analysis to include requirements, activities, and design. You will be a master at visualizing data for insights for the business. In addition, you possess good communication skills (written and verbal). You are customer-focused, recognized for your integrity and professionalism at all times, and possess a high intellectual curiosity with an ability to learn new concepts/frameworks and technology quickly as changes arise. Requirements: These are the Required Skills you need to have in order to be successful in this role: * A Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of work experience in CSR, community relations, social justice or related nonprofit work * Understanding of social justice concepts and work experience with social justice topics * Strong interpersonal communications skills with experience interacting comfortably with executives and individuals with diverse socioeconomic backgrounds * At home in the digital landscape and comfortable using online tools and platforms * Ability to manage global projects with dynamic, virtual, and global teams * You have the ability to prioritize information and present findings effectively * Strong design, documentation, and analytical skills * Skilled communicator (written and oral) and able to speak "data" with supporting teams * Adaptable and comfortable in a changing environment, able to redirect efforts as required.
