Description:

Our technology delivery organization includes multiple empowered delivery teams across a diverse array of functional domains. We are seeking experienced architects with technical domain expertise to accelerate our development projects and advance our engineering capabilities.

Those in this role will:

•Quickly engage with delivery teams across multiple functional domains to solve complex problems arising within projects.

•Collaborate with a hands-on mindset, applying technical knowledge and leadership, from design through implementation.

•Mentor and/or coach others in their areas of expertise.

•Apply and develop enterprise architecture principles and general best practices..

•Assist in improving delivery quality and efficiency, and furthering the principles of "shift left" within the entire technology organization.

•Work on systems that are visible to consumers around the world.

Candidates must have:

•Extensive knowledge and understanding of best practices and standard idioms for front-end (primarily Web) application development.

•An understanding of user experience concerns including usability, accessibility, localization, and visual styling.

•Excellent system design and problem-solving skills.

•An architectural mindset that balances the "big picture" with the needs of a particular solution.

•Proficiency in rapid engagement with teams in unfamiliar functional domains.

•Proficient collaboration skills with all levels of engineering role.

•An understanding of software development lifecycles from the portfolio level all the way down to tasks or stories.

•The ability to consolidate and present information to senior technology leadership.

•Familiarity with agile development methodologies such as Scrum.

•An understanding of software security (including common pitfalls and their mitigations).

•A passion for learning and helping others learn.

It is beneficial to have:

•Experience with the Vue and React frameworks.

•Experience with design system approaches to multi-brand experiences.

•Experience with JavaScript packaging, especially Webpack.

•Experience delivering experiences for an array of device formats.

•Experience with front-end performance metrics and optimization, including effective use of real-user and synthetic measurement.

•Experience with MFE architectures.

•Experience with content management and delivery.

•Experience with media deliver (image, video) delivery, including optimization and trade-offs between quality and size.

•Experience with caching content delivery networks such as Akamai.

•Experience with git, GitHub, and general collaborative development.

•Experience with translation and multi-language sites.

Qualifications:

•Mastery of technologies within the front-end application development domain.

•Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

•A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

-This person will work across multiple domains from anything web-facing (Checkout, PIP, Cart, etc.) as well as impact Supply Chain and Logistics

  • They will also have the chance to impact and strategize what the AI Strategy is moving forward. There is heavy investment in this space.

  • They will work directly with the Lead Arc and have exposure to all the VPs and C Suite.
