HashiCorp Sr. People Business Partner - GTM in San Francisco, California

About the role...

We are looking for a Sr. People Business Partner to support Sales Functions in our GTM Org. This person will provide strategic support and partnership to VP level leadership and their teams. The ideal candidate has experience in fast-paced, dynamic environments and can help scale/manage our rapid growth. We are seeking someone who can thrive in ambiguous situations and work collaboratively with all of our HashiCorp team members across the globe. Success will be largely based on the ability to build productive and positive relationships - but also on the desire to create replicable processes that can allow these relationships to thrive based on higher-order work!

In this role you can expect to...

  • Partner with and advise leadership on people-related strategy and decisions including organizational design, planning and compensation

  • Provide expertise in planning, facilitation and execution of employee relations efforts

  • Understand the needs of the growing Sales organization and make recommendations to drive engagement and retention

  • Use various data sets to tell a story and create meaningful and actionable insights

  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with cross functional stakeholders and collaborated closely effectively with other business units/centers of excellence

  • Coach leadership through people programs including compensation, talent development, performance, etc.

  • Coach managers and individuals to ensure they and their teams are growing and meeting their individual and team objectives

You may be a good fit for our team if you…

  • Have 7+ years of progressive People Business Partner experience supporting senior leaders within Go To Market or Sales, preferably a rapidly growing tech organization.

  • Have excellent communication skills - you know how to create strong relationships across various departments (client group facing, and internal facing) in a remote environment and “speak their language.” Ability to break down complex concepts into simple and clear language that anyone can understand.

  • Create structure from chaos. You are a driver - you get things done. Take initiative and own your work. There is no waiting or projects, you see a problem and provide thoughtful solutions. Turn ideas into a proactive plan and drive through to completion.

  • Analytically driven skills; Experience working with people metrics to guide decisions.

  • Knowledge of equality, diversity, and inclusion approaches and history working on DEI initiatives.

$188,700—$222,000 USD

The base pay range for this role in California, excluding the SF Bay Area, is:

$173,000—$203,500 USD
