Google Senior Marketing Program Manager, Brand Studio in San Francisco, California

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 9 years of experience in project management, with 2 years of leadership experience within a marketing organization or agency setting.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience executing and managing multiple large, cross-functional initiatives simultaneously, and designing and implementing processes to streamline operations.

  • Experience leading social and digital projects and working with an interdisciplinary Brand team.

  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, work in a fast-paced environment and solve problems at scale.

  • Ability to build and maintain constructive working relationships with a diverse community.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively influence and communicate cross-functionally with all levels of management.

  • Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, detail-oriented, and organizational skills.

As a Senior Marketing Program Manager, you will manage the delivery of high-priority marketing programs and campaigns while designing and implementing scalable processes to drive the team's overall effectiveness. You will grow in a dynamic environment and have a passion for optimizing marketing processes. You will be capable of seamlessly translating ideas into action while effectively collaborating with multiple teams. You will expertly engage with the insights, creative, and social marketing teams, driving work from ideas through execution, ensuring operational excellence along the way.

In this role, you will partner with insight and social specialists, creatives, producers, brand marketers and more, to manage and execute complex, multidisciplinary projects. You will manage project schedules and budgets, identifying risks, and clearly communicating goals to project stakeholders and the team. Collaboration, communication, organization and a constant need to optimize are key drivers to how you get things done. You will grow in fast-paced, team environments and are comfortable pivoting between multiple projects at any given point in time.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $156,000-$234,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Lead team of successful marketing program managers while also designing and implementing scalable processes to drive Brand Studio’s overall effectiveness.

  • Partner with teams to drive execution of key initiatives by collaborating with cross-functional teams, creating and driving comprehensive marketing project plans with clear timelines, milestones, deliverables, roles and responsibilities, budgets and more.

  • Ensure timely and tailored communication.

  • Address potential roadblocks and identify solutions to keep projects on track.

  • Manage budget to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant spend, finding savings, and ensuring our budget is supporting our highest priority work.
