Manager or Senior Manager, Portfolio Reporting & Analytics

$200-250k Base + Bonus + 401K Match + Amazing Benefits

Hybrid Palo Alto; in office Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday

Our firm is a top global private equity investor, boasting a diverse portfolio spanning hundreds of transactions across the world. We operate worldwide, supported by a team of approximately hundreds of investment professionals.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Primary Responsibilities

  • Collect, maintain, curate and benchmark a variety of financial and operational metrics from our Tech portfolio companies including financial statements, tech / software specific KPIs, and other data to be leveraged for portfolio reporting as well as portfolio management and investment decisions

  • Interface with investment professionals, senior finance teams at our Tech portfolio companies and fund administration / finance teams to coordinate the collection and quality assurance of data

  • Enter and review investment data entered into the Investment Database (internally developed) ▪ Perform quarterly valuation and financial updates on majority buyout and minority growth investments with input from investment team and auditors for the purposes of LP and internal reporting

  • Responsible for generating investment-related reporting to management, investment teams, and fund accountants and perform ad-hoc portfolio reporting requests across the our Tech portfolio

  • Prepares investment-related data included Limited Partner Services (LPS) communications

    Requirements

Keys

  • 6+ years of experience in the following categories: (no preferences)

  • Big 4/other CPA firms in transaction services/ Data analytics /financial due diligence/advisory team with clients in tech/SaaS

  • Doing portfolio monitoring work from firms like Kroll

  • Working for another VC/PE/asset management firm doing financial due diligence work

  • Impeccable attention to detail

  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication
