Microsoft Corporation Partner Sales Executive, Media and Ad Tech Solutions in San Francisco, California
Microsoft Advertising (MSA) empowers the largest advertisers around the world to reach their maximum potential through digital advertising solutions on the Microsoft Advertising platform. We are seeking a Partner Sales Executive (PSE) i s focused on Media and Ad Tech Solutions to manage the execution of the sales strategy of Microsoft Advertising’s Display, Native, CTV and Gaming solutions.
The individual in this role will drive revenue growth through exceptional solution selling to the most significant agencies, advertisers, and partners in the region. The PSE will be responsible for growing spend from existing customers and will play a key role in driving increased adoption of Microsoft’s buy-side technology products. This individual will manage existing stakeholder relationships and identify new partnerships, working up and down organizations to ensure understanding, adoption, and ultimately advocacy of Microsoft Advertising solutions. The PSE will interact with end users of the platform as well as influencers of adoption and is expected to be able to operate with technical prowess sufficient to operate a DSP as well as commercial savvy critical to growing the business. The PSE will drive adoption of new product features and collect and provide product feedback internally as a client advocate.
The Partner Sales Executive will model cross-functional collaboration and will demonstrate an obsession for customer relationships and business outcomes. The PSE should bring significant advertising technology and media experience, strategic thinking, a passion for innovation and deep relationships in the industry, all while showing they can deliver exceptional results over time.

Responsibilities
Works with internal stakeholders and partners to develop joint business plans that generate revenue for the partner and Microsoft Advertising, facilitate partner transformations, and convert market opportunities into concrete projects.
Develops end-to-end business plans that define short- and long-term goals, budgets, solution strategies, and performance expectations that are aligned with partners' needs and capabilities. Customizes agendas to gain buy in from internal stakeholders and partner C-suite decision-makers and align short-term plans with long-term priorities. Advocates for the adoption of plans within the partner organizations and creates mutual accountability between Microsoft and partners.
Understands digital media platforms and technologies including competitor potential impact. Leverage this to understand industry trends and how they shape market making opportunities.
Direct long-term customer satisfaction growth and maintenance strategies and drive business portfolio management to contribute to overall business growth and manage relationships with customer stakeholders and the collection of feedback within the portfolio to identify and understand the drivers of satisfaction and/or dissatisfaction.
Expand the client's view of the importance of MSA products and concedes negotiables in an order that ensures both parties feel they are winning while you effectively maintain good working relationships with those involved in negotiation; persuading others without using manipulation and maintain a positive atmosphere during difficult objections and negotiations.
Understand Industry patterns/trends, and how they apply to clients and conversations and as an expert solution seller, social seller, and sales challenger you will lead with compelling storytelling, selling with empathy and emotional intelligence, critical thinking and thought leadership as you work to understand the Business, Strategy, Solutions and Market Focus of clients and agencies and form a deep understanding of impact by Industry, going deep into MSA accounts.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
8+ years partner management, sales, business development, platform ecosystem/network, or partner channel development in the technology industry
OR Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering or related field AND 5+ years partner management, sales, business development, platform ecosystem/network, or partner channel development in the technology industry
OR equivalent experience.
1+ year(s) experience with planning, budgeting, and/or other project management activities.
2+ years of experience at an online publisher, ad network, ad exchange, ad server, Search Engine Marketing (SEM) platform, Demand-side Platform (DSP), Data Management Platform (DMP), or other online advertising company.
Preferred Qualifications:
12+ years partner management, sales, business development, platform ecosystem/network, or partner channel development in the technology industry
OR Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering or related field AND 9+ years partner management, sales, business development, platform ecosystem/network, or partner channel development in the technology industry
OR equivalent experience.
3+ year(s) experience with planning, budgeting, and/or other project management activities.
4+ years of experience at an online publisher, ad network, ad exchange, ad server, Search Engine Marketing (SEM) platform, Demand-side Platform (DSP), Data Management Platform (DMP), or other online advertising company.
Partner Account Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,100 - $185,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $144,000 - $203,500 per year.
