About the Role
Onboarding is a critical moment in a nUber's experience; it sets the tone for their overall experience of Uber, including helping set expectations, share the culture, and help set them up for success.
The newly developed Global Onboarding team is responsible for designing and implementing exceptional employee onboarding experiences at scale, globally. From the moment an offer is signed through their first few months, we strive to enable success for nUbers and the people that support them. To unlock our build potential, and enable a world-class onboarding experience, we're seeking an experienced onboarding partner to help gain traction on short-and-long-term priorities, and deliver on high priority efforts/initiatives.
What You'll Do
Driven by employee experience and user-centric design, you'll design, plan and implement global onboarding programs and experiences
Build for scale, ensuring operational excellence through efficient, effective and sophisticated processes and programming across XFN teams and stakeholders
Influence and drive success against priorities through data-driven approaches and strategic planning
Design and execute high-impact initiatives that support the user experience
Plan and lead global onboarding change management efforts
Develop misc onboarding related content and comms (e.g. checklists, emails, wikis, etc.)
Establish, foster and maintain XFN partnerships with key onboarding stakeholders
Build and implement processes, systems and improvements across XFN teams and stakeholders
Build and support employee transitions across various lifecycle moments
Partner across levels, and influence without authority
Strategic systems thinker - thrives at balancing the big picture and the important details
Thrive in move-fast, autonomous environments, boldly prioritizing against the most impactful efforts
Basic Qualifications
8 + years of professional experience
6+ years of program management
3+ years focus on global, enterprise onboarding
BA/BS degree in a related field or equivalent experience in L&D for adult professionals
Preferred Qualifications
Outstanding communication and change management ability
Experience with the design and development of content and programs
Experience effectively scaling global programs
Experienced L&D professional with strong eye for business
A passion for bringing culture and values to life for nUbers
Experience building culture and community
Experience working with data and measurement, analysis and best practices
Project management (PMP cert a plus)
Events management experience (a plus)
For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$142,000 per year - USD$158,000 per year. You will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
