Hiring a medical assistant in the fetal & maternal medicine clinic in San Francisco
This role is a back-office medical assisting role where the medical assistant will be rooming patients, taking vitals, working the in-basket for the providers, supporting with small procedures.
Helping with procedures and supporting the doctors and sonographers. They will help with Chorionic Villus Sampling (CVS), Amniocentesis, Genetic Testing, and Blood work (CA CPT is a plus).In supporting the procedures they will need to maintain sterile technique, prepare samples for lab testing, and documenting all related items in EPIC.
They will be rooming patients, checking vitals, confirming that the pre-work has been done prior to the appointment (ultrasounds have been received, they've done their labs, all their info is updated).
