Position Summary: Under the supervision of the Port Engineer, a 30 year retired USCG master electrician and marine engineer, the Lead Mechanic will work with other qualified diesel mechanics to maintain our fleet of six passenger vessels, conducting preventative maintenance and equipment service on all vessel systems.

Qualifications Required Education -2 year vocational/technical degree in Diesel Technology or related field or 4 years experience with mechanical and electronic diesel engine service and repair in industrial and/or marine environment

Experience - 5+ years experience in vessel maintenance

Leadership - Must possess ability to lead other engineers in project and task completion as well as industry best practices

Technical Skills- Must possess strong technical background in vessel and facility maintenance.
