Meta Manager, Product Implementation Ops Demand in San Francisco, California

Summary:

We are seeking a manager to lead optimization efforts on Meta's Product Implementation Operations Demand Planning and Strategy team. This team forecasts, prioritizes, and drives the strategic allocation of Global Operations’ budget and human review capacity.We are seeking a resilient self-starter who is eager to learn, collaborative and a proven team leader and influencer. We're targeting an intellectually curious and creative individual who is comfortable operating in ambiguity, a strategic and operational thinker with strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills. Our ideal candidate will have a passion for process improvement and operational efficiency, as well as developing others and bringing out the best in your teams. You will work directly with our cross-functional team (finance, global operations counterparts, engineering, product, etc.) to execute global projects from inception to launch.

Required Skills:

Manager, Product Implementation Ops Demand Responsibilities:

  1. Lead a high performing team via coaching people to exceed their own expectations, and creating an inclusive team culture that draws strengths from across the team.

  2. Oversee coordination and delivery of our regular demand planning and annual forecast cycles to ensure our budget is having the most impact for the community we serve

  3. Facilitate coordination across Global Operations organization, to manage, assess outcomes, and prioritize human review budget investment needs

  4. Explore and enable demand side levers to optimize our use of the human review budget, one of the largest annual operating expenditures

  5. Cultivate relationships and facilitate collaboration across stakeholder groups to manage, assess outcomes, and prioritize content review needs

  6. Design, build, and improve processes and systems that contribute to operational excellence

  7. Maintain accountability and ensure team produces high quality deliverables

  8. Communicate effectively, zooming in and out effortlessly based on audience ranging from Operations Specialists to Executive Leadership

  9. Be a change agent by understanding organizational dynamics that influence adoption of process changes

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 8+ years of experience in consulting, finance, operations, and/or project management

  2. 3+ years experience in people management managing a distributed team

  3. Experience evaluating data to understand trends and support decision-making, developing frameworks, and performing complex analyses (Excel, BI Tools, or SQL) to guide program strategy and implementation.

  4. Experience managing multiple complex priorities against competing timelines, leading through ambiguity

  5. Experience managing communications to wide audiences on various mediums (e.g., project plans, presentations, analyses, etc.)

  6. Experience bringing ideas to fruition and leading teams towards a common goal

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. 8+ years of experience in consulting, finance, or operations at a high-growth tech company

  2. MBA, Masters, or graduate degree

  3. Familiarity with operations planning and budget management for multi-sided marketplaces

  4. Supply Chain management, manufacturing operations and Lean Six Sigma experience

  5. Organized, strategic thinker and fast-paced executor: experience bringing clarity to ambiguity with little oversight

Public Compensation:

$143,000/year to $202,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
