Description

We are seeking an Instructional Designer for a fully remote, 8-month contract opportunity. This role focuses on the creation and editing of various educational resources and materials, predominantly online video-driven content. The successful candidate will join our dynamic team, working closely with our Senior Technical Curriculum Developers and Subject Matter Experts to contribute to our growing library of free technical training courses and curriculums.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to analyze learning needs and identify training objectives.

  • Design and develop instructional materials such as e-learning modules, training manuals, job aids, and multimedia presentations.

  • Apply instructional design principles and best practices to create engaging and interactive learning experiences.

  • Utilize authoring tools and learning management systems to develop and deliver training content.

  • Conduct needs assessments, learner analysis, and evaluations to measure the effectiveness of training programs.

  • Revise and update existing training materials to ensure accuracy and relevance.

    Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, or related field.

  • Proven working experience developing technical content for training purposes.

  • Strong understanding of instructional design principles, adult learning theory, and learning technologies.

  • Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar.

  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
