FocusKPI Inc. Customer Success Manager in San Francisco, California

FocusKPI is looking for a Customer Marketing Manager/Customer Success Manager to join the Customer Content and Programs team at our client, a high-tech SaaS company. This role aims to encourage and enable meaningful connections between the client's customers and their brand.

Work Location: Remote - anywhere in US

Duration: 6 months 

Pay Range: $45/hr to $51/hr

Responsibilities:

  • Contributing to a team of experienced Customer Marketers to help tell the stories of client’s highest priority customers

  • Partner deeply with PMM stakeholders to understand their needs for customer proof

  • Help support the end-to-end creation of customer stories for integrated marketing campaigns, channel marketing and sales enablement needs as well as support their comms team in sourcing customers for events, speaking opportunities, investor events, etc.

  • Help build a pipeline of customer reference leads for co-marketing to support stakeholders

  • Work closely with Product Marketing leaders to create customer-driven narratives that reflect their products' unique value proposition

  • Implementing production, productivity, quality, customer-service standards and resolving problems

  • Identifying trends, determining system improvements and implementing change

  • Work closely with the in-house Creative and Editorial teams to bring our stories to life that extend well beyond the standard case study

  • Enforcing policies and procedures; achieves marketing operational objectives by contributing marketing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews

  • Improving product marketability and profitability by researching, identifying, and capitalizing on market opportunities

Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of experience with customer marketing programs

  • Education/Experience:  Bachelor's Degree in marketing, communications, or journalism

  • Strong content creation and editing skills with an incredible attention to detail

  • Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Ability to get up to speed quickly on the needs and priorities of IT customers

  • Ability to manage multiple projects, determine project urgency and execute detailed action plans

  • Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple organizations

  • Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple functions and leadership (product marketing and brand, especially)

  • Ability to keep information organized and confidential

  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication (written + verbal) skills

  • Multi-tasking, customer service skills and interpersonal skills

  • A creative team player, who cares about their work and continually looks at how we can improve
