Title: Controller

Location: San Francisco

Salary: 170k-200k + bonus

About the Company: Our organization is an early-stage venture firm specializing in building outstanding technology companies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for two venture capital fund management companies.

  • Oversee the independent audit of three fund entities and their associated sub-partnerships.

  • Work closely with external tax contractors on tax matters related to all partnerships.

  • Manage quarterly Schedule of Investments and associated valuation updates and other portfolio management tasks as required.

  • Coordinate with Managing Director to maintain accurate investment records for offshore Special Purpose Vehicles (SPV).

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • A College Degree and valid CPA certification.

  • At least 4 years of prior venture capital fund accounting or venture fund audit experience.

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and comfort working with a globally distributed professional team.

  • Strong analytical skills with experience in budget and cash forecasting.

  • Knowledge in understanding VC deal terms and deal documentation.
