Clinical Operations Manager

Kelly® Science & Clinical is seeking Clinical Operations Manager professionals who are eager to bring the latest scientific discoveries to life in order to create a brighter, safer and healthier future for all. The clinical operations manager manages the research personnel through direct-line management. Medical clinics research new treatments and protocols and analyze sample medications to assist physicians to cure patients. The clinical operations manager is the person who is responsible for such a facility. The person supports the development of the clinical affairs infrastructure and programs to ensure top-notch quality and timely availability of clinical trial results. The individual oversees the operational components of the trials and provides strategic directions for the clinical research.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement clinical research goals.

  • Review clinical practices, CRF, and reports.

  • Ensuring consistency and adherence to clinical research guidelines.

  • Cost efficient trials by managing and analyzing various costs, resources, and performance.

  • Hiring and termination of clinical research staff.

  • Negotiating and establishing external resource contracts.

  • Integrating emerging trends in existing procedures.

  • Developing training modules.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a clinical, scientific or health-related discipline or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum 5 years direct experience in planning and managing all phases of clinical trials is required.

  • Previous experience running medical device trials is an asset.

  • Must have a good working knowledge of medical terminology and physiology and an excellent knowledge of applicable U.S. and international investigational regulations and guidelines.

  • Excellent oral and written communication, organizational and planning skills with a proven ability to manage budgets.

  • Detail-oriented, a self-starter and be comfortable with broad responsibilities in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced, small rapidly growing company environment.

  • Maintains proper communications with other departments to ensure communication and good relationships in connection with matters related to clinical trial projects.

  • Direct experience in managing a clinical trial support team is required.

  • Travel to sites when necessary.
