AJC AUTOBODY INC Body man (Automotive) in San Francisco, California

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Body Technician to join our team. As a Body Technician, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to auto body repair. If you have a passion for automotive restoration and possess excellent craftsmanship skills, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities: - Perform auto body repairs, including dent removal, panel replacement, and frame straightening - Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, masking, and priming - Apply paint using airless paint spraying equipment - Perform auto painting and color matching to achieve a seamless finish - Assemble and disassemble vehicle parts as needed - Fabricate and repair sheet metal components - Utilize power tools and other equipment to complete repair work - Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment

Qualifications: - Proven experience in auto body repair and painting - Proficient in using airless paint spraying equipment - Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures - Ability to assemble and disassemble vehicle parts accurately - Skilled in sheet metal fabrication and repair techniques - Familiarity with power tools commonly used in auto body work - Knowledge of auto estimating processes is a plus - Detail-oriented with excellent craftsmanship skills - Ability to work independently or as part of a team
