About The Role
The Design Tech team sits at the intersection of technology-driven innovation and human-centric design. We are designers at heart, and we use software engineering skills to elevate design through prototyping, motion design, and developing new tools to bridge the gap between design and engineering. Your work inspires development teams and leaders to invest in new ideas and ensures design intent is represented accurately in the product.
As a Senior Design Technologist on the Design Tech team, you will: * Rapidly build and iterate on polished, high-fidelity prototypes that express design intent, using the most appropriate tools and techniques for the task. * Work within a design system and help evolve the system to meet the needs of our users. * Work creatively through and around perceived limitations and challenges to create delightful experiences for customers. * Maintain and evolve our toolchain and internal website. * Effectively present work and sell concepts to all levels of leadership. * Mentor junior team members.

Experience that will help you succeed in this role:
- 5+ years of experience in design technology, UX engineering, front-end development, or related field
- A great portfolio, showing complex, highly usable interactive UIs
- A proven track record in pushing the boundaries of user interface design through experimentation, developing new tools and processes, and partnering with design, engineering, data science, and research teams
- Experience prototyping with D3 or other advanced data visualization libraries
- Experience with enterprise software catering to technical users
- Designing for or contributing to a design system
- Effective communication skills for design and implementation concepts
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, HCI, UX Design, or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience
