PrimeFlight Aviation Services Wheelchair Attendant Dispatcher in San Diego, California

Description

As a valued member of the PrimeFlight team, you will provide prompt and efficient service to our airline clients and their passengers requiring wheelchair assistance by performing the following duties:

  • Take calls from airlines for requests for employee coverage.

  • Schedule which agent will assist passengers based on knowledge of shifts or Duty Managers assignments.

  • Reassign job duties as necessary and adjust to meet demand.

  • Maintain logs and clear out the push history of SynTrac when necessary.

  • Update SSR information regularly throughout shift

  • Coordinate on the curbside when necessary

  • Demonstrate regular, predictable attendance at the job location.

  • Exceed PrimeFlight customer service and safety standards.

  • Carry out other duties as assigned.

General Qualifications:

  • 18 years of age

  • Reliable transportation

  • Eligible to work in the United States

  • Able to follow PrimeFlight Aviation safety guidelines for transporting the physically challenged.

Compensation

The pay rate listed on this post, is what the company reasonably expects to pay for this position. However, individual compensation may vary based on factors including qualifications, skills, competencies, education, and experience.

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Language Ability:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to communicate effectively in English. Ability to write accurate reports.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Computer Skills:

Intermediate proficiency internet-based programs, Word and Outlook. Ability to operate and teach others the SynTrac system after training.

Certificates and Licenses:

No certifications are needed.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This job may require supervision of workers at the direction of the Station Management.

  • Be able to push a wheelchair (including inclines and declines) with adults weighing up to 150 pounds when necessary.

  • Specific vision abilities required for this job include: Clear vision at 20 feet or more with or without corrective lenses.
