Job Description:

Join General Dynamics IT and be a part of a team that solve some of the world's most complex technical challenges. TACTRACGRUPAC’s Wargaming Support team is seeking a Composite Warfare Commander with expertise in Fleet Synthetic Training to join their team in San Diego, CA.

The Wargaming Support team provides dynamic, quality afloat training to Navy and Marine Corps Sailors and Marines to ensure a combat ready force capable of performing a broad spectrum of maritime missions. Special emphasis is placed on training Carrier and Expeditionary Strike Groups and Amphibious Squadrons staffs and their supporting forces prior to a deployment to ensure they are combat ready.

Duties include:

  • Scenario development, scripting, and role playing experience

  • Curriculum development and instruction

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree

  • Experience with FRTP and schedules, training architecture, manpower, facility and supporting systems limitations; and experience identifying competing requirements and formulating alternative solutions

  • Experience as a squadron, staff or range Scheduler or C4I Systems Officer , or equivalent experience in training resource, systems and requirement allocation

  • 20 years’ experience conducting naval warfare training or equivalent military operational experience

  • Secret Clearance

The likely salary range for this position is $95,200 - $142,800. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
