The Design Specialist holds a crucial position within our dynamic design team, providing vital resources, guiding design processes, and offering support for the organizations first major transformation of store layouts in two decades.

This role involves meticulous management of The UPS Store's design standards and documentation, ensuring they are up-to-date and accurately reflect the then-current design standards. Additionally, the Design Specialist leverages discipline-specific knowledge, skills, and abilities to contribute to various projects, enhancing presentations and fostering business improvement opportunities.

Responsibilities:

· Apply brand guidelines for design consistency within projects.

· Handle multiple projects with strict deadlines.

· Review, provide feedback, and approve design specifications to company standards.

· Update and manage documentation of design standards, specifications, and forms.

· Collect, process, and interpret data and information relevant to the assigned projects.

· Ensure accurate and timely submission of all project design documentation.

· Produce reports and meet deliverable deadlines.

· Develop internal processes for routine tasks.

· Help with the different administrative tasks that may arise daily.

Qualifications:

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

· Must be well organized, able to multi-task, attention to detail.

· Excellent written and oral communications, and interpersonal skills

· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, PowerBi, and Outlook)

· Experience with AutoCAD, REVIT, and BIM Collaborate Pro are preferred.

· This is an in-office position Monday – Friday and you must be currently located in the same geographic location as the job or willing to relocate yourself – Required.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $54,392/year to $88,400/year. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to, market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and education/training and a candidate’s work experience. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
