Northrop Grumman Sr Principal Industrial Security Analyst in San Diego, California

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems sector is seeking an Sr Principal Industrial Security Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be in San Diego, California .

Role and Responsibilities:

Develops, and administers security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment. Studies and implements federal security regulations that apply to company operations. Obtains rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies. Prepares manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to restricted records and materials. Conducts security education classes and security audits. Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree with 10 years of experience, 8 with Masters OR High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 14 years of experience with Industrial Security in a DoD contracting environment.

  • Must have and be able to maintain an active U.S. Government security clearance at the Top-Secret level with a background investigation date within 6 years.

  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access.

  • The ability to sit for extended periods, relay and receive information, and collaborate in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Working knowledge of US Government tools and databases, including DISS, JADE, etc.

Salary Range: $109,900 - $164,900

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
