Key Qualifications

  • Proven expertise in C/C++ development

Description

Apple’s Vision Products Group (VPG) is looking to hire a software engineering to architect and build forward looking application frameworks that will enable new use cases for Apple Vision Pro. You will iterate and work directly with clients to understand key functionality and drive the full life cycle of feature development from quick-turn initial proof of concepts though to production-ready SDK. Strong problem solving skills and effective communication are critical for success in this role.

Education & Experience

BS / MS / PhD in Computer Science or equivalent experience and at least 10 years of software development experience

Additional Requirements

  • Bonus: Swift and/or Objective-C development

  • Bonus: spatial computing, VR application or framework development experience

  • Bonus: Prior experience working directly with developers to understand use cases and build tailored solutions.

Pay & Benefits

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $189,800.00 and $284,900.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
