Aston Carter SEC Reporting Manager in San Diego, California
Hiring for and SEC Reporting Manager in Rancho Bernardo with a large SaaS company!
Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelors in Finance/Accounting required
7+ years of experience in SEC report writing (10K, 10Q) required, need to be able to write the 10K and 10Q
Thorough understanding of SEC Reporting and US GAAP required
Experience in developing technical memos to support accounting considerations and conclusions
2+ years of Big 4 firm experience highly preferred
Publicly traded company experience required
Description:
Preparation of SEC financial reporting documents (10Q, 10K, Proxy)
Prepare or review supporting information used to compile financial statements, notes and MD&A
Prepare disclosure checklists related to SEC filings.
Work with external auditors during the annual audit process and quarterly reviews
Assist with technical accounting on complex transactions, including research and documentation associated with various topics such as revenue recognition, share-based compensation, acquisitions, etc
Perform technical accounting research and prepare whitepaper documentation as necessary including business combinations, revenue recognition and share-based compensation
Assist in the accounting close, consolidation, and reporting process. Perform SOX controls on assigned areas of responsibility
