Description We are in search of a Recruiter to join our team in the non-profit sector located in San Diego, California. The role will primarily involve full-cycle recruitment for the organization, formulation of job advertisements, management of applicants' status, and ensuring a transparent and respectful hiring process. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee full-cycle recruitment across the entire organization.

• Develop job advertisements based on approved job descriptions to attract suitable candidates.

• Manage and update job postings on both internal and external sites.

• Ensure recruitment process complies with Federal and California Licensing standards through proper documentation and fairness.

• Manage applicants' status in Applicant Tracking System throughout the recruitment process.

• Communicate proactively with candidates and hiring managers at all stages of the recruitment and hiring process.

• Screen candidates for technical and cultural competencies through reviewing applications, resumes, and conducting initial interviews.

• Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers, while adhering to internal policies and procedures.

• Carry out reference checks on candidates to verify employment and skills.

• Create written offers to selected candidates using agreed upon standards and templates and launch correct pre-employment screening packages as per position requirements.

• Research organizations and programs for suitable recruitment sources and compile a list of recruitment sources.

• Plan and attend job fairs and conduct presentations about opportunities within the organization.

• Coordinate the development of recruitment materials such as brochures, flyers, and advertisements.

• Assist with New Hire Orientation and other Onboarding activities for new employees. Requirements • Proven experience in Full Cycle Recruiting within the non-profit sector

• Proficient in using UKG Pro and UKG Ready for recruitment and human resources management

• Skilled in Applicant Screening to select potential candidates for further evaluation

• Ability to Conduct Interviews professionally and efficiently, ensuring a positive experience for candidates

• Strong Interviewing skills, including the ability to assess candidate suitability and fit for the organization

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and other recruitment tools

• Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information

• Knowledge of employment laws and regulations in the non-profit sector

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.
