Marc Jacobs International, powered by the creative genius of Marc Jacobs, seeks a part-time Sales Associate to join its Fashion Valley location in San Diego, California  

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Achieve and exceed the personal sales goals 

  • Demonstrate a complete knowledge of the merchandises’ features and benefits to maximize the sales opportunity

  • Responsible for client development beyond the initial transaction

  • Maintain the housekeeping and visual standards of the store

  • Assist in bi-annual inventory cycle

  • Follow all store operational policies and procedures

  • Client Book Management 

    QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2+ years retail experience

  • Excellent organization skills

  • Customer service skills

  • Familiar with Excel, Word and Internet 

  • This position is a part-time role. As such, and in order to meet our business needs, it is essential that you are available to work a minimum of three (3) weekdays per week and open availability on one (1) day every weekend

    SALARY & BENEFITS/WHAT WE OFFER: 

    The compensation for this position ranges from $18 to $20 per hour plus commission. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidate’s relevant skills and experience. If applicable, we offer our employees a comprehensive benefits package including paid holidays, vacation time, sick and personal time, medical, dental and vision insurance, and 401k matching.
