Description

Robert Half is partnered with a technology manufacturing company near Downtown, San Diego to provide support with a PART-TIME AR/Bill Specialist! We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a meticulous and organized AR Specialist role in San Diego, California. The job function involves providing crucial support to our finance department by managing client and vendor billing, maintaining accounts receivable, and conducting weekly bank reconciliations.

This is an on-site, PART-TIME opportunity (2-3 days per week ideally). This position starts immediately. This is working within a casual, upbeat, tight-knit team.

Responsibilities:

• Manage client and vendor billing operations, ensuring all invoices are issued accurately and timely.

• Maintain and manage Accounts Receivable (AR) to ensure all transactions are recorded properly.

• Regularly follow up on outstanding invoices to ensure timely payments.

• Conduct weekly bank reconciliations for multiple bank accounts to ensure financial records are accurate.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel to manage and analyze financial data effectively.

• Use QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise for various accounting operations such as data entry, month-end close, and payroll.

• Conduct account reconciliations on a regular basis to prevent and resolve any discrepancies.

• Handle the billing procedures, preparing, and sending invoices to clients.

• Leverage QuickBooks Online for various bookkeeping operations.

• Assist in other financial operations as needed, adhering to the industry standards and company policies.

• Receiving customer payments into QB, customer communication via email, collecting on outstanding payments

• Identify customer payments in batch deposits helpful via merchant systems

• setting up and maintaining a digital remit advice archive to support monthly reconciliation

Requirements • Demonstrated proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management

• Skilled in carrying out Bank Reconciliations

• Extensive knowledge in Bookkeeping processes and principles

• Capable of performing Data Entry tasks with high accuracy

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial reporting and analysis

• Familiarity with Month End Close procedures

• Experience in managing Payroll operations

• Proficiency in using QuickBooks for financial management

• Experience in Billing procedures and management

• Familiarity with Invoice processing

• Proficiency in using Quickbooks Online for financial tasks
