TEKsystems Medical Center Front Desk - Call Router in San Diego, California

One of the nation’s top health care providers is looking to fill a Front Desk - Call Router role.

Location: San Diego, CA

Pay: $16-$20hr

Schedule: Day and Evening Shifts

Contract Length: 6 months with possibility of extension

Position Description:

Places, receives and routes a high volume of calls through an electronic key system or a switchboard system. Takes and relays telephone messages. Greets, escorts and directs visitors. Provides general information to callers or visitors. Provides telephone directory assistance. Has ability to communicate clearly and accurately; uses a telephone system to receive and transfer calls; and shows patience and courtesy when dealing with people.

Required Skillsets:

-Experience in call center or heavy phone volumes

-Ability to multitask and work quickly

Preferred Skillsets:

-Knowledge of Centrex Phone Systems

  • PBX System and Switchboard System and knowledge of emergency codes in hospitals.

    Required Education:

High School Diploma
